PLP POLAND (BELOS) S.A. is the exclusive distributor of SSEL transformers in Poland, providing sales of the equipment at authorised outlets.
PLP POLAND (BELOS) S.A. has been in business since 1947. Since the company's inception, transformers have been part of the BELOS product offering. In 2018, PLP started cooperation with SSEL's manufacturing by introducing solutions from this manufacturer.
INFRASTRUCTURE
SSEL is an organisation with next-generation plants and machinery and world-class infrastructure. Production is based on backward integration. All basic raw materials are processed in-house. The transformer design process is carried out using advanced engineering software to enable the rapid implementation of complex designs.
CORES
The production facility is well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for the production of amorphous metal wound cores, CRGO wound cores and packet cores. Core production includes:
- A fully automated CNC line for high speed slitting of CRGO cores.
- Fully automated CRGO core forming machines, imported from Australia.
- Fully automated CRGO laminated core cutting machines.
- Fully automated slitting machines for amorphous cores.
CONDUCTOR PLANT
The ultra-modern, environmentally friendly, ambient air-conditioned facility for the processing of cast aluminium and copper rod conductors includes:
- Drawing, annealing, paper coating (DPC, TPC or MPC) of wire and enamelling of round and rectangular wires.
- Testing of wires according to national or international standards.
WINDING
SSE's coil winding workshop is located in a dust-free atmosphere with controlled air pressure and humidity.
Capabilities include:
- SSE's core coil assembly section takes place in a controlled environment and consists of dedicated workstations equipped with the required jigs, fixtures and pneumatic tooling for ease and increased productivity.
- Spiral winding machines with pneumatic pressure rollers maintain coil dimensions.
- Fully automated film winding machine.
- Specially designed, PLC-operated, fully automated wire/tape layer winding machines that facilitate end-filling and insulation grading.
- Servo tensioner functions prevent wire elongation.
- Disc/spiral winders with expanding and folding mandrels.
CORE COIL ASSEMBLY
The SSE core coil assembly section takes place in a controlled environment and consists of dedicated workstations equipped with the required jigs, fixtures and pneumatic tooling for ease and increased productivity.
- Active parts are handled with the utmost care in a conveyor system.
- Full facilities and infrastructure for the production of active parts for CRGO-core and amorphous-core transformers.
- Hydraulic crimping tools, copper/aluminium brazing to ensure correct contacts during connections.
- Thermostatically controlled, motorised continuous roller type drying oven and autoclave.
TANK FABRICATION
SSE's production facilities include a highly automated press shop, assembly and welding, surface treatment and painting facilities suitable for the production of rectangular, circular and elliptical ladle structures for power transformers and distribution transformers.
- The infrastructure also includes the production of heat sinks consisting of a fin forming line equipped with hydraulic pressing and shearing stations, spot welding and welding machines for welding the components.
- CNC-controlled turret punching machine with hydraulic and plasma cutting technology, corner radius bending machine and automatic hydraulic punching machines.
- Seven-axis digitally controlled robotic MIG pulse welder imported from Germany.
- Fully automatic welding route finder developed in-house.
- PLC-operated conveyor-type airless shotblasting machine.
- Conveyor integrated installation with powder and liquid painting equipment. Paint baking oven for curing.
TANKING
The SSE refuelling and packaging station includes:
- State-of-the-art oil filtration unit consisting of a PPM controller and degassing unit.
- PLC-controlled vacuum and in-line oil filling systems.
- Pneumatic impact spanners for fastener clamping.
