Galvanizing
You are invited to use the hot-dip galvanization and shot blasting services offered by PLP POLAND (BELOS) S.A.
Our galvanizing tank has the following dimensions:
length x width x depth
2.6 m x 1.2 m x 1.7 m
Using a single dip method, we are capable of galvanizing elements of the following maximal dimensions:
- structures: length x width x depth
2.4 m x 1.0 m x 1.5 m
- spans: length x width
2.4 m x 1.5 m
- profiles: length
2.9 m
We conduct hot-dip galvanization including centrifugation of:
- fine elements (washers, bolts, structures)
- threaded elements > M16
- rods, needles (upon agreement)
We certify that our zinc coatings fulfill the quality requirements of the PN-EN ISO 1461 standard.
We are a member of the Polish Galvanization Society
To obtain satisfactory results of the hot-dip galvanizing process, correct design basis is necessary at the stage of structure design.
Most of all, the following must be considered:
1. The dimensions of the galvanizing tank (the so-called operating dimensions, that is, the largest, longest and widest elements that may be galvanized),
2. All thermal consequences,
3. Individual characteristics of the element to be galvanized,
4. Further expected conduct and assembly of the galvanized structure,
5. The condition of the surface of the steel elements prior to galvanizing.
Please contact us in all cases in which doubts regarding the preparation of elements for hot-dip galvanization are raised. It is a good practice to provide a drawing, photograph or technical drawing (by fax or e-mail). Our employees will advise you on the matter, which will allow to fulfill your expectations regarding the quality of the zinc coating.
The technical requirements have been presented in link.
